  • 7-Eleven Speak Out Wireless

    7-Eleven Speak Out Wireless is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator operating out of the United States and Canada, owned by 7-Eleven. The service was introduced in the U.S. in April 2004 and operates on the AT&T Mobility network via the "mobile virtual network enabler" Ztar mobile. In Canada the operation began November 2005 on the Rogers GSM network with Nokia phones.

  • Bell Mobility

    Bell Mobility is the division of Bell Canada which sells wireless services in Canada. Bell Mobility has over 5,884,000 subscribers as of the end of Q2 2007. In July 2006, Bell Mobility assumed responsibility for the former Aliant wireless operations in Atlantic Canada as part of a larger restructuring of both Bell and Aliant, and continued to do business there as Aliant Mobility until rebranding as Bell in April 2008.

  • Fido Solutions

    Fido Solutions, formerly known as Microcell Telecommunications is a Canadian cellular telephone service provider. Fido was the first carrier in Canada to launch a GSM-based network and the first wireless service provider in North America to offer General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) on its network. Since November 2004, Fido is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rogers Wireless. Fido ranked the "highest in customer satisfaction among contract service providers" in Canada according to the J. D. Power and Associates 2007 Canadian Wireless Customer Satisfaction Study.

  • ICE Wireless

    ICE Wireless is a cell phone provider in northern Canada. They were the first GSM carrier in Yukon and the Northwest Territories, in the extreme north of Canada. They currently provide coverage in Inuvik, Yellowknife, Aklavik, Tuktoyaktuk, Norman Wells, Fort Simpson, Hay River.

  • Koodo Mobile

    Koodo Mobile is a discount mobile brand in Canada owned by TELUS. In contrast with traditional "free phone" contracts Koodo uses a "pay as you go" concept for subsidized phones. It was launched in 2008. Its advertising consists of television and billboards on which they advertise people "exercising" by texting and calling. Television advertisements spoof the popular 20 Minute Workout and Tony Little's infomercials. The common theme is "Drop that System Access Fee".

  • Rogers Wireless

    Rogers Wireless, formerly known as Rogers AT&T Wireless, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rogers Communications. Rogers purchased Fido in November 2004, creating Canada's largest wireless carrier, surpassing Bell Mobility in subscriber volume, and is Canada's only Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) network.
